Spelling worksheets for first graders and second graders are fun when they look fun. It's not necessary to print out expensive worksheets in full-color. Black-and-white pages work just fine when there is some appealing art. First and second graders can always add their own color!
Positive ReenforcementChildren learn better in positive environments. When you encourage your child through positive reenforcement and encouraging words, he will want to perform better. Berating and humiliating only causes fear and withdrawal from schoolwork.
